has decided that they are serious
about the sport of basketball and
wants to continue to play basketball
on a competitive level after high
school.
- An athlete that particularly wants to
isolate and focus on a particular
area of their game.
- An athlete preparing for a special
event and wants to showcase elite
talent.
- An athlete that is especially
advanced compared to their peers.
Personal Training
(no more than 2 athletes per session)
Intentionally encompasses the offensive and defensive
skills improvement, as well as the overall physical
conditioning of the individual athlete. This training
particularly serves well in instances such as:
Group Training
(small group/ no more than 7 athletes)
Emphasizes the minute fundamental details
of the game of basketball offensively,
defensively, mentally, and physically. This
training is most ideal and particularly
serves well in instances such as:
- An athlete who desires to hone in on
his/her all-around game and improve
through repetition; an athlete who
desires to be fundamentally sound.
- An athlete who wants to be elite
among peers.
- An athlete who wants to develop
higher basketball acumen and
awareness of the game in general.
- Any and all athletes who sincerely
desire to continue to play basketball
on a competitive level after high
school.
- Communal request (a request from constituents of
the community)
- Athlete experience and knowledge of the game of
basketball, as well as commitment to the game of
basketball and the Baobab Project organization.
- The expertise of the staff of the Baobab Project
Organization.
Team Training
(team practice)
Practices that are strategized and
prioritized based on team objectives,
goals, and other commonalities of an
organized group. Teams are made
official and sanctioned based on:
